ABOUT ME

Actor, Teacher, Writer, Cyclist

Theatre was my first vocation and I spent my early adulthood as an actor. As I approached midlife, I continued working in theatre as a Secondary School Drama teacher. Directing hundreds of young people in scores of plays. Upon my retirement, I got on my bicycle and began pedaling. Cycling has become a lifestyle.

I began writing, as well. I mean, I've always been a writer (mostly poetry) but now I began writing in earnest. In short order I finished my first novel, The Little Brudders of Miséricorde, published April 2022 by Tidewater Press. I write microfiction almost daily. Just for fun. And songs on my guitar. Lots of songs.

But for the next few months (June-September) I will be cycling Montréal to Victoria. Just to see a bit of Canada. And maybe find opportunity to promote my debut novel along the way.
